As a free to play user, this is fun and rewarding
by insertfootmouth I have been playing fairly consistently since late 2014 and really enjoy this game.
I also haven't spent a dime on it.
I'm not a Blizzard fanboy and am not drawn in by any references and tributes made to other Blizzard games in here Hearthstone. Nor am I a card game fanatic (which this most certainly is). I just appreciate the realtime interaction on a mobile platform and execution of a game, one which is rather simple in its premise but also has a good amount of depth. Here, high levels of planning and thought are quite oftentimes rewarded.
Those thoughtful, analytical elements combined with the delightful sounds, visuals, and character designs make for an enjoyable all around experience. Then on top of that, throw in the regular, edge-of-your-seat moments where randomization comes into play. And you have a single 10 to 15 minute in-game match that truly has me coming back for more a few times a day.
The game isn't perfect by any means. But the developers are constantly tweaking things and introducing new elements in order to make it better, more fair, and ultimately more fun. Up to this point, I can't think of a decision made on their part that I didn't see as justified.
Developers, keep up the good work! Fellow players, maybe I'll see you around in the tavern for a match or two.
Fun game, but don't judge classes too quickly
by Welltext Okay. Hearthstone is fun. All my friends play it. When you play hearthstone, try to get friends to play with you to have friendly battles and the game will magically be more fun. Plus. The game isn't a pay to win game. You can still get gold to buy card packs, but you just need to know the most efficient ways to get gold. I know people say Priest is OP sometimes, but think. Most of Priests cards are pretty weak and require spells to help buff the units to create finisher Minions to end the battle. If you find the game hard, just take a break from it and come back to it in a day and you'll be ready to play again. WARNING DO NOT BINGE PLAY!!!
Crashing issues
by Cougar_Pounder I absolutely love this game. It is so addicting to play and I just want to say it's not pay to win. It sure can be but its not. If you know how to spend your coins wisely then you will still get very good cards. It takes some patience to build a good deck but that doesn't mean you have to. On the other hand, with this new update my game has been crashing in the loading screen... I tried even reinstalling the game. I want to play! Blizzard get on it please
