Customer Reviews
Good game, but with some major flaws
by Iridiumflare Okay, before I start let me just state that this is a fun game (although in my honest opinion, has a really flawed short storyline). Since I didn't pay for it (the regular price is absurd for the amount of gameplay), I am happy with it. A few issues need to be addressed, though. First, it can be buggy every now and then (crashes, or in one instance, the view being locked in slow motion for some reason.) Secondly, as I mentioned....the story line. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue for me, but the problem is that once you defeat the worker, the game ends and you lose all character and map progress and the whole game restarts. There is no reason for it to end the entire game since there are still things you can do and explore on the map (like events, the arena, even past completed missions). Given that I passed all the story line missions in about a days worth of gameplay, that presents a huge problem. Why the developers decided to not allow players to continue to access the other content on the map after you completed the main story line (unlike most every other game in this genre)- I don't know. It seems like a major fault in the game and almost comes acrossed like it wasn't thought through. It frustrated me so much that I just deleted it. So just a heads up, if you are planning in participating in any events or don't want to lose any upgrades you've made to your characters, don't finish the last mission.
Eh. It was all right.
by Ndndjsjskbsvehdjsj Infinity Blade 3 looks at first glance to be the obvious best game graphically and in the sheer number of items. And it's true, this game looks great and has tons and tons of amazingly designed weapons and armor and magic for you to __play around with. Another aspect to this game, my personal favorite improvement, is being able to go to different locations instead of continually exploring the same castle. The two characters as well as all the people you need to recruit for your hideout are annoying, though. I wish I could upgrade gems or weapons without needing to find someone first. And I can only sell to the merchant? The story wasn't surprising and they could've done without it. A plus side was the dragon; undoubtedly the best addition in terms of boss fights to Infinity Blade games that I could have imagined. And the final showdown with the monstrosity, the sweet victory, oh man.. They really did good on the dragon design. But I have to split all my cash between two characters while I wish I could just choose one at the beginning.
In terms of enemies it's challenging and fun, although I do remember rage quitting on those pesky enemies who damage you elementally. Some of that could be taken down a few notches. Other than that, if you're a fan of the Infinity Blade series definitely give 3 a try. It's not as classic as the others, but it's entertaining and replayable.
Its a good game, but I don't like it
by Camgonzo I won't deny that this is a good game, it's just that I'm not as into it as the other two. I like the map feature, but it gets rid of one of my favorite parts of the first two, which is exploring the castle. When there's so many areas you can only have probably one or two secrets in each one. Another problem is that I wish that you could use any character for any mission. I would definantly use Isa (the girl) because my favorite way to fight in infinity blade is to be quick with your hits and dodge alot. It's hard to get the best daggers for Isa, when I also have to try to get the best light weapons for Siris. It's just too hard to manage both. Another thing that I don't like is that you have certain missions. In infinity blade 2, you could try to find all the secrets of the castle, while leveling up ONE character. In this game, different missions are designated for different characters, which makes it harder to find a good leveling plan, because the enemies don't level up with you in previous missions. This is a good game, I don't deny that, it's just too different too fast, which I don't like most of the new features, and has made it too different from my favorite app, infinity blade 2. To sum up this review, I feel like it is too different from Infinity Blade 2. I would give it 2.5 stars if I could, because I am not saying it is a great game, because it is, but I just don't like it.
